VBOX-F inert gas frame gloveboxes

VBOX-F frame gloveboxes are standard sealed gloveboxes with wide capabilities for options and customization. VBOX-F gloveboxes are designed and manufactured by Vilitek LLC. The frame and antechamber elements are made of high quality stainless steel. The panels of VBOX-F boxes are made of special polycarbonate with low gas permeability, high chemical resistance, durability and long service life. For specific tasks, the screen material can be replaced by any other material based on the customer’s needs, including radiation-protective materials, plastics with special chemical properties and light filters. Quality of Vilitek gloveboxes is proved by conformity certificate issued in accordance with GOST R.

VILITEK VBOX-F glovebox (standard model) in the basic configuration.

Manufactured and designed in RussiaVBOX-F gloveboxes are unique in the world. They are developed and manufactured in a modern facility in Russia and are also exported. The gloveboxes have a number of unique technical advantages:

  1. Full view of items inside the box on all sides.
  2. Easy loading of large items in the box. Devices installed in VBOX-F gloveboxes can almost coincide (by overall dimensions) with the internal dimensions of the box.
  3. Butyl rubber gloves from Piercan (France) are included in the basic configuration.
  4. Outstanding flexibility in use: if the box is to be used for a new task, you can quickly and cost-effectively change the position and/or number of glove ports, the antechamber, and upgrade the glovebox with accessories.
  5. Increased strength in comparison with conventional plexiglass gloveboxes.

Standard VBOX-F gloveboxes are equipped with first-class butyl rubber gloves (156 mm port diameter) from French company Piercan, the world's most reputed glove manufacturer. Optionally, the boxes can be equipped with gloves made of neoprene, butyl rubber, polyurethane, hypalon, EPDM, multilayer material (hypalon + polyurethane), and polyurethane-based radiation-protective material. The diameters can also be optionally increased to 220, 250, 300 or 350 mm.

Probably, gloves are one of the most important elements of gloveboxes. The use of top-quality butyl rubber gloves in VBOX-F boxes gives you important advantages over those who use the economy option — latex gloves (made of natural rubber). VBOX-F gloveboxes are unique compact standard gloveboxes equipped with butyl rubber gloves even in basic configuration. Below is a comparison of butyl rubber gloves and latex gloves. In addition to standard models, VBOX-F glove boxes can be made of almost any size, with the required number of gloves and antechambers, as well as with various options according to the Customer specifications. PC

Glovebox pressure control system provides constant keeping of set pressure inside the box (± 20 mbar). It includes pressure controller with sensor and two solenoid valves. If glovebox is used to protect the product from moisture or oxygen, the system constantly maintains a slight overpressure in the box. If the box is used to work with hazardous substances, for the purpose to protect the operator, the system maintains a low vacuum in the box, which ensures maximum protection for the operator in case of system failure. To work under vacuum, it is necessary to connect the box to vacuum pump or centralized vacuum system. To work under positive pressure, as a rule, the box is to be connected to gas cylinder with valve or gas generator.

CHEMKER 410 chemically resistant diaphragm vacuum pump. The flow channel is completely made of one of the most chemically resistant materials in the world — polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It operates completely without oil or lubricating fluids in working section. It is used to pump gas out from the antechamber when putting items into the glovebox. The ultimate pressure is 10 mm Hg, flow rate is 18 L/min.

CHEMKER 400 chemically resistant diaphragm vacuum pump. The flow channel is completely made of one of the most chemically resistant materials in the world — polytetrafluoroethylene. The ultimate pressure is 90 mm Hg, flow rate is 33 L/min.

VILITEK gloveboxes are equipped with precision electrochemical gas analyzers with minimum response time to measure oxygen concentration. EF3

Feedthrough to enter round cross-section cables and tubes into the glovebox. The sealing of cable or tube is carried out on the outer diameter with special adjustable seals. Cable or tube goes into the box without breaking. Feedthrough is designed to enter of up to 16 cables or tubes with outer diameter of 3.6-16.5 mm and up to 4 cables or tubes with outer diameter of 9.5-32.5 mm into the glovebox; may not be used in vacuum gloveboxes. Several feedthroughs may be installed in one glovebox.
