Plexiglas gloveboxes VBOX-PG

VBOX-PG gloveboxes are high-quality transparent gloveboxes designed for use in research and production. VBOX-PG boxes are designed and manufactured in Russia by Vilitek LLC. The boxes are made of high-quality advanced materials and components. They come with a number of features and technical details that make them clearly stand out among their counterparts from other producers. The VILITEK VBOX-PG model series comprises 8 standard models. You can see more examples of our gloveboxes in the gloveboxes gallery

Main areas of use:

  1. Manufactured and designed in RussiaHandling and experimenting with substances that require protection from atmospheric moisture or oxygen
  2. Working with devices and units that require protection from atmospheric moisture or oxygen
  3. Handling substances dangerous to the operator
  4. OLED/PLED technologies
  5. Can be used in the li-batteries field
  6. Creation of efficient high-purity local zones

All VILITEK gloveboxes are designed and manufactured by vacuum engineers. The boxes are a product of high-vacuum technology and vacuum technology techniques and principles. This is why VILITEK gloveboxes are known for their enhanced integrity, high purity environment, convenient operation and robust design.

Main advantages:

  1. Simple, fast and reliable opening and closing of the access door
  2. The sophisticated design ensures reliability, functionality and ease of operation
  3. The removable end cap allows to install equipment with dimensions equal to the internal dimensions of the box inside the glovebox, thus making full use of the box interior
  4. With the large number of flanges, one connect multiple gas sources, extra sensors and other equipment, thus increasing the glovebox features
  5. German-made high-quality stainless steel industrial accessories and fittings
  6. German-made high-quality chemically resistant acrylic glass
  7. Excellent visibility from all sides
  8. High manufacturing quality and accuracy
  9. Modifications can be designed to meet customer's specifications
  10. Scalable: additional modules can be connected thanks to the flange capacity of the end wall of the working chamber

Plexiglas gloveboxes VBOX-PG

Standard VBOX-PG boxes are equipped with latex gloves. The boxes can also come with butyl rubber gloves, polyurethane-coated gloves, or gloves made of other materials. In VBOX-PG-V models, both the lock and the main working chamber were designed to withstand vacuum conditions. In VBOX-PG models, only the lock is designed to withstand vacuum conditions when loading objects in the box.

Description

PC

The pressure control system in the box ensures continuous maintenance of a predetermined pressure in the box (+/- 20 mbar). The system includes a pressure regulator with a sensor and two solenoid valves. If the glovebox is to be used for protection against moisture or oxygen, the pressure control system will constantly maintain slightly excess pressure in the box. If the box is to be used for protection of the operator working with hazardous substances, the system maintains lower pressure in the box, thus ensuring maximum safety for the operator against leakage in the system. To work with low pressure, the box should be connected to a vacuum pump or central vacuum system. For excess pressure, the box is usually connected to a gas cylinder with a pressing reducing valve or gas generator.

VP

Chemically resistant diaphragm vacuum pump. The pump is needed for pumping gas from the lock (when loading objects into the glovebox), for pumping the main chamber of the box and for maintaining vacuum during operation.

SO

Oxygen concentration sensor (gas analyzer). When ordering, oxygen concentration measuring range is specified. VILITEK gloveboxes use high-precision electrochemical gas sensors with minimum response time to measure oxygen concentration. Another feature of the oxygen gas analyzers is the simplicity, replacement and low cost of the measuring element.

SH

Water vapor concentration sensor. It measures the partial pressure of water vapor in the working space of the glove box.

RH

Water vapor trapping system with a molecular sieve. The molecular sieve can be regenerated by heating, for example, in a laboratory furnace.

RO

Process gas deoxygenation system with regenerated absorber. This option includes a heating system with a temperature controller for absorber regeneration and an integrated regeneration gas flowmeter.

QD

Quick-removable end cap. This option is useful for frequent loading and unloading of bulky objects. It requires replacing the standard fastening screws of the end cap with quick-release screws.

LC

Large air lock chamber. The glove box can be equipped with a large air lock chamber to meet the customer's specifications. This option is useful when handling bulky objects in the box. Required dimensions of the lock chamber are clarified when ordering.

HEPA

HEPA-filtered gas circulation system. The system is used for objects that are sensitive to ingress of dust. HEPA filtration can also be used for gas sterilization in the box as the filters used in VILITEK gloveboxes also trap microorganisms.

BASE

Stand for sitting work. Standardly glove box is installed on the lab table, this stand replaces the lab table. Made of structural steel, powder-coated.
